I have never had such burning and stinging sensation on my cheeks! Sure, the skin feels soft after using the mask but it's probably because the top layers were completely melted by this lava mask. The first 1-2 minutes it was stinging, but bearable. Then it dried out and I was fine. I waited exactly 12 minutes and started rinsing it off. And oh my god all hell broke lose when I started washing it off. Underneath my mask my face was all red, my cheeks were absolutely burning. I jad to apply cold compress just to survive through this without crying. I did Not rub my skin and yet it felt like I have used sandpaper on my face and have then applied alcohol or pure acid. For other people, this might be a suitable mask, but for the ones with VERY sensitive skin and mild rozacea - don't do it!
